The Tropic Marin® Original Balling Liquid Set consists of three solutions A, B and C based on the well-known Balling method and can be used immediately, by hand or with a dosing pump.

​In addition to calcium chloride dihydrate (part A) and sodium carbonate/bicarbonate (part B), the Balling method also adds sodium chloride-free sea salt (part C) to the aquarium water. This is the only way to balance the supply of sodium and chloride ions and thus maintain the ionic balance in the water. This balanced dosage of calcium creates the best conditions for good coral and calcareous algae growth.

The Tropic Marin® Original Balling Liquid Set contains:

​Part A: Calcium chloride dihydrate (approx. 20 000 mg/l)

Part B: Sodium carbonate/bicarbonate (2 800 °dH/l)

Part C: Sodium chloride-free sea salt (~3 350 mg/l Mg; ~ 980 mg/l K)
